TTFT Can you say simplified?!

Here’s where life changed as we knew it. Not the birth of a child (Lord knows we have enough of those things *clears throat* children I meant children) but yeah something more time consuming and mind boggling!

Using the 46 gallon tank that we already had we started our saltwater journey.

The research involved before buying a thing was extensive, mostly done by Kraig. Our plan…well stay as simple and inexpensive but thorough as we can (insert crickets here) (followed by shaking heads and pointing fingers) you heard me correctly though! Also I know! I know! Fish tanks and simplicity = not a thing! We were out to prove that theory wrong, okay?! Stop with those slanty eyes and raised eyebows! It can be done…can’t it? :p

Anyway, here we go 46 gallons, first, order live rock … check…add water …..now we wait ! Do you understand the feeling of having to stare at a tank without fish? Put it this way watching paint dry or water boiling is more exciting and less excruciating!! *sighs*

Here it is our proud moment we set up our first saltwater tank!! The excitement is unexplainable!! It’s running on a canister filter, luck, want, need and that’s about it!! As you can see we lack fish at the moment *extreme sad face*

Added a really cool picture, but yet no fish, this is May 9th!! we have to wait two weeks….yup not a typo… 2 weeks people… before adding fish! Oh, and that is not a Mandarin, my baby, but clown fish go in first!!

Don’t get me wrong I loved Nemo too but my heart and soul needs this mandarin!!

As of right now this is it .. I mean not too shabby for first timers, right?!

BTW the purple live rock was bought on-line and the white rock is a gift from a cousin. I’ll drop the name of the on-line site later today so watch out for that on our FB page! If you haven’t subscribed to our FB page yet here it is https://www.facebook.com/robynb131
